Groundwork products are inspired by the romance of the past and the beauty of the garden. Traditional influences paired with our knowledge of current trends combine to create everyday products with a new twist on the old.The handcrafted techniques used in the production and finishing of our pieces give the consumer the feeling of investing in an antique.
	Our business was initially built on a series of botanical studies that we reproduced from an antique herbarium we found in London. Botanicals and other wall pieces such as mirrors and coat racks still make up a large percentage of our line. Over the years we’ve added tabletop and accent furniture pieces to round out our offering. Our products have been featured in catalogs and stores such as Anthropologie, Harrods of London, Ballard Designs, Saks Folio, Bloomingdale’s by Mail, Sundance, Martha Stewart Living, Exposures and Horchow.
All of our pieces are handcrafted, warehoused and shipped by Amish craftspeople in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
